Day 9

LEMONS  LEMONS  LEMONS  LEMONS  LEMONS  LEMONS  LEMONS

Did you know that lemons are really good for you in many ways?

Well, it is and you are just one click away from finding out all the goods you're missing.

From today on I'm starting to drink a nice cup of lemon water to give myself a boost of energy and to get my metabolism a kick in the ass!

Day 5

So, I guess that the degree of difficulty is like mood swings because today was really not so bad. I was at a café with my friend and I had no problem just choosing the Caesar salad and it was lovely.

For dinner I made some red capsicum, steamed (for half a minute) spinach, steamed (for 2 minutes) broccoli and chicken breast. This was so good!

Now, I'm going to tell you how I made the chicken.

At first I marinated the chicken in some home made marinade made of:
(marinate for 1 or 2 chicken breast)

1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 twists of pepper
the juice from half a lemon
5 calves of garlic

Then, I let it marinate for about half an hour (it would actually have gotten better if it had been marinating for several hours, but I was hungryyy).

After that I heated the pan (you wanna heat it with the highest level) and greased it with - let's say - maybe a tablespoon or two of olive oil. Then I put the chicken breast on the pan and let it get golden brown on both sides.
When that is done the chicken is all raw inside, so to make it really juicy and done you have to pour 1 cup of water on the pan (still at the highest heat) and don't be afraid if the water boil over - maybe not outside the pan, but just heavily boiling - it's supposed to do that. This makes sure that the chicken is deliciously tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Now, at some point the water will have steamed and there is only a bit of brown juice left on the pan. You have to do this, adding a couple of cups of water on the pan before it's well done.
When You have done it 3-4 times, cut through the meat at the widest "point" of the chicken breast to check it it's done.
When it's done you are going to want to rub the chicken in the brown juice that is left. This will add a great taste to it.

Bon appetite!

Day 3

So, today was a lot easier than yesterday, actually. It's like I'm getting de-toxicated and that my sugar addiction has decreased so that's really lovely.

I went shopping for some healthy - and yet yummy - food!

And then I made some delicious whole wheat tortillia-wraps with chicken breast and guacamole made of avocado (of course), spinach, tomatoes, red pepper, a squeeze of lemon, 4 cloves of garlic, some onion and one table spoon of olive oil. Loved it.

Finally I am beginning to think that this year isn't going to be a living hell. The only hell I'm gonna get is a hell of a hot body.
